Bike Trail Reviews

"Perfect for families. We have a two year old daughter who rides in a bike carrier and a six year old son who rides his own bike. The trail is well marked and is always maintained."--ROJO, localhikes.com

"This trail is great. The entire family loves it."--Denise, localhikes.com

"This path is really underused, given what a scenic and smooth route it is. The ride makes an excellent alternative to the Ernst Trail in Meadville, which can be a bit congested on nice weekends."--mjuhasz, MapMyRun.com

"The trail offers a nice variety for cross country skiing. Gentle grades along with a few hills will keep your cardiovascular system working. There are many turns as the path follows the shore line. It's a great way to enjoy the quiet whiteness of a winter day."--rickcarr, TrailLink.com

One of Goddard State Park's most popular features is a 12-mile paved trail that hugs Lake Wilhelm's shoreline, and can be accessed from Launches 4, 2, or 1, the marina, the dam, or Dugan's Run. The trail is open to bikers, hikers, snowmobilers and cross-country skiiers.

Please see the left column here for some enthusiastic reviews of the trail.
